Future Leaders International (FLI) is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of our Site visitors. This Policy sets out how we handle data, including how we collect, store and use personal data, information on transfers to third parties, as well as your rights as a data subject.

Personal data we may collect

Simply visiting FLI’s websites does not require you to submit personal data. However, if you ask us for information or otherwise express an interest in our services, the personal data we collect depends on the purposes for which we require the personal data and what you have chosen to provide. This may include your name, address, contact information (e.g. telephone number and email address), photograph, video image and any other information that may identify you or is personal to you.

FLI generally uses the personal data collected for purposes connected or relevant to our business, including when:

  • We render services to you and our clients – we do this to fulfil our contractual relationships with you and our client and where we have a legitimate, beneficial interest in using personal data to conduct our business;

Sharing of personal data with third parties

How your personal data is disclosed will depend upon the situation. We use your personal data to provide services for you and our clients. We may also share your personal data with third parties who provide support for our services or business operation. All such recipients will only have access to your personal data as required by them to perform their functions and are not permitted to use such personal data for any other purposes. These recipients will be subjected to contractual confidentiality obligations.

  • Withdrawal of consent: In certain circumstances you have the right to have your personal data deleted. You may make such a request at any time and FLI will evaluate whether your request should be granted.

Where permitted by law, we may charge you a fee to process your request. We may also be permitted under applicable laws to refuse a request.

Security

While we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your personal data in our possession or under our control, we cannot be held responsible for unauthorized or unintended access that is beyond our control, including hacking or cybercrimes. We also do not guarantee that our websites and applications are invulnerable to security breaches, or that your use of our Site is safe and protected from viruses, worms, Trojan horses, and other vulnerabilities.

Retention period

We will retain your personal data on our system for as long as i) necessary for the respective purpose, (ii) necessary to carry out our business relationship with you, (iii) you have consented to, and/or (iv) required for legal purposes. It is not possible to outline the various retention periods in a reasonably intelligible format under this Policy.

In some circumstances we may anonymize your personal data so that it no longer identifies you, in which case we are entitled to retain and use such anonymized data without restriction, including for data analytics.

Use of the Site by minor

If you are a child, minor or not of legal age, please inform and seek the consent of your parent or guardian, before you provide your personal data to us. If you are a parent or guardian and you have reason to believe your child or ward has provided us with their personal data without your consent, please contact us to request for erasure of their personal data.

Updates to this Policy

We may amend this Policy from time to time without notice to you, to comply with applicable laws or as we update our data usage and handling processes. The updated Policy will supersede earlier versions and will apply to personal data provided to us previously. You can determine when this Policy was last revised by checking this section of the Policy.
