Helen has 20 years of experience in the field of psychology, coaching and leadership assessment and development. She has been based in both London and Sydney and for the past 8 years, Singapore is now her home. She provides high quality, insight-based assessment, development and executive coaching services to organisations and psychotherapy and personal coaching to individuals. She currently consults to clients such as Unilever, Diageo, BP, BHP Billiton, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and Intercontinental Hotels Group.
She is a Chartered Psychologist with the BPS (UK) and a Registered Psychologist with AHPRHA (Australia), an accredited assessment centre coach, coaching supervisor and facilitator. Her training in theraputic approaches includes cognitive behavioural coaching, acceptance and commitment therapy, and neurobehavioural modelling. She has also trained with, and is accredited by, the Australian Institute for Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM).
Her special interest in the application of neuroscience to coaching led her to co-author a book chapter entitled ‘Insights from Neuroscience’ in Hall, L et al. 2015 Coaching in Times of Crisis and Transition’, Kogan Page; in parallel with this she also launched the first ‘Applied Neuroscience for Coaches, Asia’ course.
As a coach, assessor and facilitator she is warm, collaborative and stretching, blending depth of knowledge with quick insight into the individual and what makes them tick. She is experienced at working with and getting the best from leaders at all levels, and across diverse backgrounds, having worked with companies all over the world. Her work is underpinned by her understanding of the corporate world in conjunction with her psychological training. These combine to allow her to engage people in a development journey that is both exciting, meaningful and personally resonant.
Her corporate roles have included Sales Management in FMCG (L’Oreal), Talent Management in Investment Banking (Merrill Lynch), and Managing Consultant roles in large Talent consultancies (AON and YSC) in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Helen is accredited in a wide range of psychometric instruments including Hogan, OPQ, FIRO-B, 16PF, MBTI, Saville’s Wave as well as the Level A and B Plus Certifications in Psychometric Testing from the British Psychological Society.
